For the past year and half I’ve been working for a private client on designs for a family reunion in Poland. The brief was to art direct and design an identity for the event including printed materials such as invites, name tags, schedules and other documents as well as a multimedia presentation. The job involved restoring old photographs, building a family tree, copywriting in Polish and English and sourcing historic photographs.
For this identity designed I aimed to convey a feel of nostalgia by using sepia tones and a font reminiscent of the past. The multimedia slide show was built from scans of over 300 photographs, carefully retouched and ordered according to family history and connections.
